THE RACE

The race is an all-terrain footrace through the south part of Stockholm. The race follows primary the hiking route Sörmlandsleden. The race course mainly trail, some gravel roads and some km of tarmac. It will be technical and demanding. Every runner will to some extent be responsible for their own navigation, as the course only is sparsely marked.

START & FINISH

Start: at 10:00 AM, ca 150 meters behind S:t Markus church in Björkhagen, Stockholm  (at the start of Sörmlandsleden). Place for undressing, toilets and water are available before start in Björkhagen School (signs). Runners clothing and bags will be transported from the start site to the finish by the race-organiser.

Finish: At Rudan Gård in Haninge (south of Stockholm). The finishers will be served nutrition drinks, water and something simple to eat. Showers and sauna are available at no extra charges.

ENTRANCE FEE

The entrance fee for the 2009 race is 350 SEK. The fee shall be paid to the Swedish bank account at Postgirot Bank, account no: 49 69 85-3. Holder of the account is Stockholm Långdistansklubb. State: name, birth year, complete address, T-shirt size, club and phone number / e-mail adress. The entry fee entitles to: water, bananas and bread at the checkpoints, diploma, shower, sauna and T-shirt. Last day of payment is 2009-10-01.It is also possible to pay the entrance fee on race day before the start, 450 SEK.

Only runners 18 years or older are allowed to start!
